So the adventure continues…..

If you’ve been reading my blog for a while, you will have noticed in January we decided to expand our family from 3 children to 4. So far, we’ve had no luck! Everything is okay, medical wise, it just hasn’t happened yet. If you’re new here is a link to that post, So the adventure begins…

So when Ava women offered me the chance to try one of their bracelets, I jumped at the chance. From all the research i have done around fertility technology, it was a given this is the ultimate tech gadget out there. I luckily received my bracelet on November 7th, which was great especially as my cycle was due to start on the 11th.

I feel so lucky to be able to use this bracelet and the insight it will give us into our chances of adding another addition to our family. So I have been using the Ava bracelet for roughly 2 weeks now, which has been amazing. My morning routine has now changed but only a little, first thing I do when I wake up is to make sure I sync all of the data from the night, which Ava has recorded. I will then take a look at my stats, predictions and how much sleep I have had the night before. I will also check for any nightly insights that Ava gives me; these can range from your resting pulse rate going up or down, your temperature changing, and your nightly breathing rate.

2 week insight using the Ava bracelet.

During the 2 weeks that I have been using the Ava bracelet, I must admit I am amazed at how well it has been working, the battery life lasts 2 days, and you do not feel it on your wrist either. This was most defiantly a bonus for someone like myself, who doesn’t like to wear jewellery.

From syncing my data for the past 2 weeks, I was told my fertile window would start from the 23rd of November, so I decided to take an ovulation test, just to see if it was right. Low and behold a faint line appeared on the stick. So now I know Ava knows my body more than I do myself, I am hoping that my next post about my use of the Ava bracelet will be an updated to state it worked miracles and that we have another addition on the way.

When I started this journey, I was very conscious of all the many fertility apps, and technology out there. Yet I can 100% say Ava has really opened my eyes up to the technology behind it and has also made me more aware of my only bodily function. Without Ava I would still be struggling to chart, check cervical mucus, and diary planning. I also would have been unaware of what type of sleep I am having; now I know why I feel tired in a morning this is due to having a night of mainly light sleep. Here’s to the next 2 weeks of wearing the amazing Ava Women bracelet and fingers crossed for baby dust.

Don’t forget to follow me on my social media to keep up to date on our journey. Also on my Instagram account, I have a discount code for the Ava bracelet, THEGRANTHAMS20 this will give you £20 off. Go check it out.
